Looking for an easy dinner in your weekly meal plan? Then I have just the meal for you! This 3 Ingredient Chicken & Stuffing Recipe for the Slow Cooker is really easy to throw together, and you’ll have a delicious meal when it’s all done! I love making this recipe on cold days, or sometimes even in the summer when it’s too hot to cook but you really want a home-cooked meal. It’s really quick to put together too, so when prep time is a factor, it’s a go to meal. Great for those lazy days, or those busy nights when you have sports or extra curricular activities!
*1-2 Whole Chicken Breasts, depending how much chicken you’d like (I usually use 3 halves to cover the bottom)
*1 jar Alfredo sauce, 15oz, any brand
*1-2 boxes of stuffing mix
1.) Put chicken on the bottom
2.) Pour can of Alfredo sauce over chicken
3.) Spread sauce evenly over the chicken
4.) Dump your stuffing mix on top
5.) Put lid on – You’re done with the prep!
6.) Cook on high about 4-6 hours or on low for 6-8.
7.) When your chicken reaches cooked temp, fluff up your stuffing.
This is a super easy dinner, and it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser! You can change up the Alfredo flavor to your liking too. (We used a garlic Alfredo sauce.)
***The safe internal temperature for cooked chicken is 165° Fahrenheit (75° Celsius). A meat or instant-read thermometer is your best bet for determining the temperature of your chicken. I use this one: http://amzn.to/2FqVrI5
Wait until it’s cooked!
